My coupe was origionally a 4 banger. The engine swap was done by a professional, not the owner. The brakes were swapped as well, but i dont think the booster was. When i step on the brakes its on the hard side. That makes me think the booster is still the stock 4 cyl one. Im going to stay 4 lug, but i was going to upgrade the front calipers to the 73mm lincon/svo ones, my question is, can i use an sn-95 booster or would that be too big for the 73mm calipers and drums in the rear??

Its probably better to add the Booster now so that you will be ready for an upgrade to Rear Discs in the Future

Yes and no. The booster will provide more power for stopping, however a stock MC with the 73mm calipers is not the ideal setup, so you won't get full potential. You are better off leaving the stock 60mm calipers and just changing the booster and concentrating on a better brake upgrade down the road

your booster probably is the 4 cyl one and some people might say that it doesn't matter. But you can look at the two and see that they are physically different. Just make sure that if you are going to stay 4 lug that you will like it. I thought about 4 lug wheels and just doing the little upgrades like you but then I say how cheap it was for 5 lug conversion. even if you don't end up going to a rear disc just yet you will be better off. But you will need to change out that booster regardless. Just may be better to upgrade even more than the 73mm with the 5 lug now. Good luck

thanks for the replies. i was going to just stay with 4 lug becasue i was going to run 93 chrome cobra rims. I guess its still all up in the air and for the time being ill upgrade to the sn95 booster now, since i have my hands on one for fairly cheap. And ill decide about the rim choice down the line. This way at least ill have better petal feel for now, and some of the swap is already done for me down the line.
