Check it out, 12 miles and still wrapped.

This is the third or fourth time it has been on Ebay. Sad part is, he won't get the price he wants.

I would love to have it
I really don't understand why you would change the wheels on it, considering the value and how the car was never driven in the first place.

If you look at the sticker closely, it looks like they were a dealer installed option. It is hard to read, but looks like it says wheels . . . $4000.00

PS, as much as It pains me to say it being an owner of a 96 Mystic, right now they have very little value over a regular 96 Cobra. I know of one that was up for sale in Vero Beach, FL with 12,000 miles and she couldn't even get someone to bite at $15K.

Thats true, even in bluebook they technically have no added value over another color cobra. I still love them and think the mystic is worth around $1k over any other colored 96 cobra. I payed $12k for mine with 65k miles on it in june of 03.

At the sametime though I didn't buy mine for the value. I bought mine because I love the color.

I'd give him $20k and he could keep the wheels!

There were other colors that had less production numbers than the Mystics...they aren't that exclusive...

And a 10 year old car with only 12 miles on it, think of how bad of condition that engine is going to be in...unless he starts it up a lot and just doesn't drive it...

If I were financially able to be a large-scale collector I'd buy it, but I wouldn't buy it in my current position. I'd rather have one I can use.

Yes that is correct, there were technically 2000 or 1999 depends on who is counting 96 mystics made. The 98 chrome yellow and 98 atlantic blue are far more rare. At the sametime their color paint is not exclusive. Ford painted a lot of the vehicles they made with those same exact colors. Someone could have an escort the same color as your cobra. The 96 mystic paint is exclusive to only that car and no other, thats why I find them to be more collectible.

Yeah, how is that thing mechanically?

$28,500.00 .....I'm guessing you could get a newer 04 mystic with a bit more money and a few more miles.
