Did you adjust the TV cable? This is a step alot of people have overlooked and blew up a new tranny. If you didn't, I know there are instructions around on teh Stangnet or I may have some on my computer still. :nice:

The tv cable sits under your throttle body right next to the throttle cable and runs down to the kickdown lever just in front of the shifter linkage on the tranny . It has to be adjusted right or you will F'up your tranny. I recommend taking to a shop and have them adjust it , dont want to mess up your new one .

The throttle valve cable adjust is critical on an aod.

Search here, or on Corral, and find some adjustment instructions.

It is critical to adjust. Don't drive it more than you have to before you adjust.
