brand new SCT Tuner XCal2 I bought off of ebay is bad. Ticks me off, got my email tune today and was trying to upload it to the tuner, and it kept giving me error messages.
so i called SCT and they did one of those computer sessions where they can see your desktop and he was tinkering with it, and couldn't get it to work...so we did the same thing on the laptop it didn't work, so he thought my cable might be bad, so I ran to the computer store bought a new usb cable for it, that didn;t work either, so they issue an RA for me, and I am sending it in, and they will send me a brand new replacement.
Props to SCT though, they provided outstanding customer service, and even though I didn't buy it directly from them, they are still willing to make it right.
So it will be about 10 - 15 days before I get my replacement, and then hopefully we won't have no problems getting the tune into the new one, and getting my car tuned, and then after that I can go get dyno'd!!!
