so everything got installed! woot woot. this is a new beast lemme tell you that much. now to the topic.. how should i break this in exactly? its chattering a lot and i need to get to about 1500 to get her going without breaking the car in 20 pieces.. so it seems. how should this be done, and when willl it end? on a side note, everybody please do yourself a favor and get energy suspensions poly motor/ trans mount kit if u ever do anything that requires some digging down in there. these things made a huge difference! and its hard to explain but it feels solid and great. im so happy with the lt's also, i was told they fit better than all the BBK's ive ever installed and will be using these for now on. so thats my story on them, and by looking from top and bottom it clears everything perfectly. i was told the mounts will keep it steady also so there will be no problems with the headers hitting anything. well this is enough for now.. so about that cluch..?? thanks SN

sound sweet longtubes are great love the sound they deff open up the exhaust more. how does the trans mount feel though ive hurd some mixed reviews about that. ive hurd that it makes the trans feel tought to get into gear. to answer your question i would give it about 500 miles easy driving no hard shifts just take it easy.

What clutch?? What flywheel?? Hopefully this weekend I'll have my Spec clutch and aluminum flywheel in. Just take it easy for 500 miles. No speed shifting, no taching her out. Probly shift easy at between 2-3000 RPM. So baby it for about 2 tanks full of petrol, then drive it like you stole it!!! :nice:

well i went with the SPEC stage 1 and resurfaced flywheel. Im not touching this baby with anything major untill im done college, and than ill be needing like a stg 3, :D , and im not drivin on that for 3 years. anyways, the clutch feels great and thanks for the break in info. i hope this chatter goes away, which im told it should after it breaks in. i still cant get over how much i love these mounts tho, it feels soooo good. maybe people without cams wouldnt appreciate them as mucha s i do, but when u have cams it makes such a huge difference is shaking, and the added driveline slop with bucking and all that crap. totally gone. no major nasty vibrations coming into the car either.

I will be making a clip later today, but what programs do u guys use to make video's and edit things in them??

and i have to give a HUGE shout out to MATT @ PERFORMANCE EVOLUTION in MIDDLETOWN, DE. other than me, he will be the only one to ever touch my car. did a great job, at a great price, and even went above and beyond with some extra things he just noticed. its nice to talk and work with the guy whos acctually workin on your car, and anyone close to here i would HIGHLY reccommend going to him. (he even has someone in there now with a red cobra from illinios).. haha.. anyways, thanks guys.. and a lil help with makin a vid from a crappy digital camera?? :flag:

I just bought centerforce DF clutch and it going in next week. May I ask how much the install cost you ?
I bought centerforce TOB but every one suggest me not to use so I went to ford and got there ford TOB, cable and pilot barrings. I do have cams and after my cams done my engine shakes like crazy , do I need better engine mounts ?

well i can speak from what i have...

the mounts will help the engine not shake soo much, and keep the driveline secure. it also took away that slack.. like when rollin at 70 and than gettin on the gas.. that clunkish noise.. its all gone. i paid $600 for the clutch, headers, x pipe, mounts, steering rack bushing, and a new tune all installed. i went this route over doing it myself becuase i wanted the headers to be done right and he told me he would do them by pulling the motor. also got a new valve cover put on for free that he sold me for $40 bux w/ new gasket. i think it was a great deal for all the work put into it. as for the clutch, this stg 1 is plenty for me.. thing grabs like a mofo. im just wondering whats all this tranny noise i hear now???? any help with that guys?? as for the tob, spec uses fords, so no worries there.
