* crap i spelled brakes wrong lol*

Hey all I recently had the cobra front and rears (drilled an slotted ) installed on my car..

well the pedal feels more solid, but overall im slighty disappointed,

how long is the break in period? It is not exactly a night and day difference (yet).

just has me a little worried, i usually do the work myself however i did not want to drop the axle myself so I had a shop do the whole procedure.

Break in period for what? I would suggest if your going to bed your pads...you season your rotors by easy street driving on them for a week or so. Then go ahead and bed the pads. If your running cheapo street pads and/or ones that are "pre bedded" you could skip the pad bedding. But all brake pads can benifit from bedding, pre-bedded or not. You can find directions for that on the web.

FINE Green..if your gonna give me crap about that...

http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/wp_bedintheory.shtml good stuff here...theory behind it and procedure.

BTW I did a google search on "pad bedding" and my first hit was "Bed Pads for Incontinence" it made me giggle like a school girl.

its not just an E brake light its a low fluid light too. So check your brake fluid level. Make sure there are no leaks in the system especially in the front where they changed the calipers. As far as the hand brake....maybe it requires adjustment?

Why would they need to drop the axle to do the brakes?
