Guys, most don't know this but I originally bought a Whipple Tune from Brenspeed back in March. The tune unfortunately did not work well as their was a problem with Air Fuel Ratio. Brent had a tough time trying to get me dialed in. In the meantime I ran around on the stock Whipple/Ford tune to the results of 455 RWHP.

Brent offered to refund me my money AND provide me with a new tune in about 4 weeks after they installed their very own Whipple HO kit on their 2008 Mustang. Well, he finished it up and sent me the tune.

All I can say is Holy *****!!!!! This thing pulls like a mother!!! It dyno'd yesterday at 475 RWHP at a very safe AFR.

The most impressive thing about this entire story is how unbelievable the customer service was from Brent. He really cared about my situation and constantly emailed me updates. As it turns out, the original issue was due to the first gen vs. second gen Whipples. The second gen Whipples produce 12 psi very efficiently and safely on the stock motor. My original tune was based off the first gen Whipples.

I am stoked about the new tune and I can't wait to get out and "test it".

Driving it home yesterday, the power felt like it was coming at me much earlier compared to the Ford tune. Needless to say, I'm loving this car!

Brenspeed...

Brenspeed is head and shoulders above the rest; I just ordered electric water pump and relay kit last week. Next day I get a call from Brenspeed asking if I want 2 relay kits b/c one comes with the pump. ( I had not know that, and had already paid for the other). I was refunded for the extra relay kit, and assured my merchandise was now being sent. It isnt that they saved me a few bucks, its the principal that they took the time to inform me of my error and make it right... Sadly, all too rare a practice among vendors.

Brenspeed:nice:

Thanks guys. Yeah, Brenspeed knows what the hell they are doing which is why I keep going back to them. When it is time for a clutch and brake upgrade, you know who I'm calling.

As for taking it to the track, I would like to but I doubt I will. We have one about 45 minutes east of where I'm at, so you never know. I might make it there sooner or later.

Great results Apex! I've had great success ordering three different times from Brent as well. When I ordered my O/R H, he emailed me that day and told me it was back ordered several weeks. Twice he sent me updates about its arrival and just a few days after that, I got an email saying it was shipping out:nice:

Those are great #s! I fail to see a torque curve as it is more of a plateau!
Safely run 12 PSI on stock block at that power level:eek: :nice:

+1 for brenspeed. I ordered my cai from them and more recently my suspension pieces. There prices were great, there shipping was fast, and they were very helpful on the phone. Oh, Apex, now that I've seen those #'s I know who's going to tune my whipple soon :)
