My silverstars are not yellow like yours in the pic. Sure they're silverstars?

Here's a pic of my Silverstars without an upgraded harness.
Now we have a comparison.

That ain't no comparison.

Comparison is when you use the same context with 2 different variables. Hence, you should have a side by side, headlamp by headlamp comparison.

Go to www.suvlights.com and then click on the headlight wiring harness in the upper left. You would need the one for 9004 bulbs used on foxbodys

Only thing is I haven't verified long term affects (if any) on any possible damage to the headlight housings from the extra heat generated by the bulb. I only drove for 30 minutes with them installed and all was OK at that time. I will keep you guys updated.

That can be a potential issue - I think I alluded to it earlier. My headlights are all steel and glass - not an issue for me. Y'all are in a different situation with your headlights - pay close attention. Some of the higher wattage bulbs can put out a tremendous amount of heat.

It's the 9004 harness and it's $55. It's the second harness pictured. It's the universal harness.

You are looking at the "dual battery super heavy duty harness" which is the incorrect one.

Well, I haven't driven my car too often at night since I did the hi-watt bulb upgrade but I have driven it enough to verify that the bulbs put out alot of heat....enough to start to peel or bubble the inside of the aftermarket clear housings around the socket of the bulb.

Now if one had the stock looking housings (with fluting), none of this would be apparent but with the clear housings if you take a close look you can see it. Nevertheless, I will continue to use the Silverstars which do have decent output and color so i don't totaly ruin my new housings.
