Installed a Boost Cooler on it last night -- results on N/A are pretty amazing as we have 10% or so humidity out here. Man it sure ran hard and it was torturing the tires on the 1-2 and kicking the car out on the 2-3. Thought I smelled the clutch a little on the last run, but it seemed fine so I thought nothing of it. Took it to Firebird tonight and was unable to get it into third on the first or second run -- just thought it was one of those nights. On the third run, the clutch went on the 2-3 shift.

I guess I know what I'll be doing on Sunday. Do I have to drop the tranny to replace the clutch or can it be done without doing that?

Yes it is the Snow Performance Boost Cooler. No numbers to report yet, remember I put it on two nights ago, and took out the clutch last night.

Put a McLeod Series 800 Clutch in today along with the Steeda adjustable clutch / quadrant, assy. Sure glad I didn't have long tubes on it . . . all I had to do was pull the collectors off of the Bassani mid-lengths and we were able to get the transmission out. Not a fun job. Hopefully, this clutch will last a GOOD LONG time. Kinda' sucks that I have to drive 450 - 500 miles on it before I can get on it.
