Where can I purchase just the glass for the drivers side mirror? I need the glass/mirror part and the plastic platform it is on, that connects to the actual mirror housing that moves. Stupid thing just fell off my car :-(

I haven't found any place that just sells the mirror itself. However, I've seen cheap ones on eBay for $36.95, so that's not too bad.

I got the mirror glass/plastic backing plate from the Ford Dealer(I think I paid less than 10.00 for it), but that was a couple of years ago.

It's easy to get the plastic backing plate out, once the glass is gone, so it should only take you a few mins to swap it out.

Same thing happened to mine a while back. I just pieced the old mirror back together and had a local shop cut me a new one. Cost $10 plus tax.

I have seen a specific tool that gets behind the mirror and releases it (for ford mirrors).
