Broken Vacuum Line

Hey guys.... what is this white vacuum line? What does it control? Do I need to replace it or can I plug it on both ends?

Looks like that runs to the egr valve .

Get a piece of hose the same dia as the plastic line and slide it over both ends to re connect it

Yeah that is EGR that is broken. Just repair it with tubing like mentioned above.

I broke mine last summer while cleaning the engine bay so I slid a piece of shrink wrap over it as a temporary fix.
Does anyone know if a replacement is available or can the white plastic tubing be removed and replaced without replacing the entire assy?

Just buy a few feet of 3/16 i.d. vacuum line and replace it and the rest of the hard lines.
