I do not own a mustang, I am putting a 302 in to his 6 cylinder 66 mustang, and could use some help as to how things my present to be a problem.

You will need V8 motor mounts . 6 cylinder spindle will not hold up well to the weight of the V8 but 5 lug spindles are a direct swap . You will need to change the drag link ,pitman arm ,idler arm and tie rods and sway bar to V8 .
You will need a throttle pedal assembly for the v8 ,automatic pedal assembly for automatic transmission. Wiring is a bit different but only in routing so it easily adaptable . Rear end and drive shaft should be changed out for 5 lug rearend . It sounds like a lot but it is all fairly easy to swap out as it is all a direct swap .
