i need some help deciding on a budget engine combo and was up for any ideas/combos you guys have used or ones that would work.

thumper heads & tmoss intake seem to be the hot budget ticket.

I picked up a good lo miles used set of Ebrock 1.9 Perf's for $600, topped it with an Explorer (early w/EGR for my app), 1.72 roller rockers for more lift on the HO cam, shorty headers, 2-1/2 catback. All my stuff I found good used, at not much over 1/2 price of new.

how much power out of the tmoss intake and thumper E7's. ????

Typically guys see around 260 rwhp with those combos.

Toss a nice extreme energy cam and you have got yourself a nice combo , although if your on a budget there are cheaper cams but ive noticed in alot of 5.0 mags the comp seem to make the best power.

yeah abou 260 at the wheels or just shy of 300 at the flywheel... for what you pay it's a touch combo to beat. With traction and some angry driving it should get you in the 12's.

That is HEAVILY dependent on lots of other things, but 260RWHP could put you in the mid 13s in a 3,600# car.
