Bullitt vendors with custom backspacing?

I remember seeing on the Show "Trucks". This one company makes custom wheels, the ones they showed on "trucks" looked similair to Bullits. The company was Colorado Customs. Stacey, the host said they make them with as much backspacing you want.

Buy the late model ones...really cheap...5.72" backspacking and then buy a 1" spacer on ebay for $140 (for 4). Thats what I did.

Thought about that but decided that I don't want to get into spacers just to keep it simple and have that one less point capable of giving me trouble later on...

Though maybe it would be to my advantage to have that extra space to work with in the event that I changed something up later and needed the extra backspacing all of a sudden? Don't know how this would happen though so it may be completely irrelevant...

Well sounds to me like the latemodel rims will be fine for my needs then, problem is, I can't find any that are any cheaper than the $200/ea no-spacer-needed rims on customwheelsmarket.com, especially when you factor in their free shipping. Hopefully I just haven't found a cheaper vendor though, where did those of you that went the spacer route get your rims?

You need to buy them used. I've seen practically new wheels that were taken off of a new GT almost right away go for around $400 for all 4 wheels and almost new tires. Can't beat that.

One more question before I order these babies... would it be smart to order the aftermarket rims with larger backspacing since I know that I will likely make changes to my rear and brakes in the relatively near future? or should I try to stick to standard 4.5" bs and make the new mods work around that? just looking for some voice from experience here....

I'm going to switch to some kind of 9" but I don't know which at this point, I guess it will depend on money more than anything.

And I think I'll go with 245/45/17s rear 225/40/17s front... people say they can fit 235 front and dogestang's chart supports that, but then blkfrd has the same tire sizes I'm listing here and says that even then the front tires rub on occasion, so I don't think I want to push it...

Also planning to do a 4-wheel disc conversion, haven't picked the system yet though.
