Bump Steer Kit

I would recommend getting a bump-steer kit and a good set of C/C plates. Maximum Motorsports does not recommend using off-set rack bushings. Just letting you know for consideration purposes, not saying that is concrete, but you know what I mean...

One thing I forgot... Most of these kits will require you to drill a bigger hole in your spindle for the bump steer kit to work. It's a piece of cake, but you will need a drill press. There are a few kits out there that you do not have to do this with, but just ask the manufacturer and they should be able to let you know.

Turns out the D&D kit DOES require drilling of the spinlde. As i have already ordered it, looks like thats what im going to do.

Any chances i can do this with the spindle still on the car? I just finished torquing it down on the balljoint, and putting the brakes/struts on etc!!!

Jeff,

You will need a drill press to drill a bigger hole in those spindles. If you are going to put new springs on, most of that stuff up front will be ready to come off. Unfortunately, a hand held drill does not have enough torque to drill through that metal.
