I'm sure the MM or Steeda bumpsteer kits are both quality kits. The advantage to the ball joint kit is when you lower your car, you change ball joint anglelarity changes, which in some hard driving cases can put a bind on the ball joint and it will help correct your roll center. You must install the bumpsteer kit when installing these ball joints. But another good quality mod for making your stang handle better

So would it matter if I bought the steeda or MM kit, would they both do the job equaly as well? Also what are the x2 ball joints that the steeda kit talks about?

Check out the February 08' issue of Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. They have an article entitled "Good Vibrations" towards the center of the mag - in which they install the Steeda Bumpsteer Kit as well as the X2 Ball Joints on an SN-95. Good info in there, should answer some of the questions you have. I was looking at it the other day when I was in the store, its the most recent issue.

its definitely worth the time & money. I have the steeda kit & the X2 balljoints on my 03 & it made a huge difference in the feel of the front end, & it tracks alot straighter over bumps. My 95 sits about 3/4 of an inch higher than my 03, but the bumpsteer on the 95 is far worse since I didnt do the bumpsteer kit on there when i lowered it...

I think the lower the car sits, the more spacers go on top of the tie rod?? Heres a pic of mine, & this was when I still had H&R ss's in front...My car sits about 1/2" lower now...

kinda off topic here: where in the Sacto area did you get your Mach aligned at after doing those mods? I'm planning on doing the X2 balljoings and bumpsteer kit once I move, but I couldn't find any place in Elk Grove that said they could align a lowered Mustang

I actually had one of my buddies align it...He works at a dodge dealership, but does side work, but only on his good freinds cars....I originally had my car aligned at sears LOL!!! I think there is a place called autobahn performance on Franklin Blvd in south sac that does alignments on lowered cars....PM me if u need anymore info & maybe I could help u out....
