I just had a new rear bumper on mine... cost about $225 (w/install), plus you have to add in the cost to get someone to paint it....

I recked my front bumper about a year ago now and I found a bumper on Ebay for relatively cheap bought the and took my car to the body shop. They painted the bumber then told me it would be like 400$ to get it put on so I brought the bumper and car home and put it on myself it really not to hard the paint match great and looks like the body shop did it. All you need it rivet gun, a drill and a set of screw drivers and socket set. If thats the way you want to go let my know I have all the instructions on how to do it online and can give you the adress. I also did the rear bumper to I bought a GT take off with the dual exhuast cut-outs I think it looks gay if you put dual exhuast on the car and it hangs below the bumper.

The rear bumper on my 02 V6 Mustang has a few scuffs on it and it also has an 8" inch razor line crack in the paint from when someone tapped my bumper and flexed the bumper cover. I initially was going to get it fixed, but Maaco wanted $325 to take the bumper off and to repaint it and then put the bumper back on my car. I decided to leave it like it is. It doesn't look bad and I think that most of the scuffs and scratches will come off if it gets buffed up. As for the razor line crack in the paint, I will repaint my bumper only if the paint starts peeling off.

Well I guess the rear bumper got lost in some computer change outs but looking at the front bumer might help you get some ideas of how to do the rear. I am really sorry about not having the rear.

i hate to be annoying but i have another question... does anyone know if there is something directly under the radiator behind the bumper like the cardboard/plastic undercarriage protector? I was looking underneath my bumper and it seems as if somethings missing. Id post a pic but i need to get a hold of a digital camera first. Thanks

nope there is nothing to worry about there just the black foam piece on the front. If the black piece falls off just duck tape it back on no one can see it and it will hold well. I would suggest having a second person help you with the bumper it will make things easier and a little faster.
