Shouldve thrown a match on there tent.

With all the rain this weekend it probably would not have accomplished anything

Did the part get there in time? I had it tracked and it showed that it was delivered Friday morning?

I am the service manager at CJ's so I do not work in the parts end of the business but I still hate to see posts like this. We ship 500-600 packages a day so we use USPS, UPS, FED EX, DHL, etc. We try and get the parts to the customer the fastest way possible. We would not be in buisness anymore if we intentionally lied to our customers. I am sure Justin just made a mistake and for that I apoligize.

I am also one of the cocky bunch that goes to the Etown show

hMMMMMMMMMMMMM, I GUESS THEY NOW KNOW-THERE STAFF ARE SLEEPING @ THERE DESKS..... AN APOLOGY, LITTLE GOOD THAT DOES ME WHEN I NEEDED MY PART TO GET MY CAR RUNNING AGAIN FOR THE RACEWAY PARK CAR SHOW SWAP MEET... NICEEEEEEE!

Make a report with the BBB. Thanks for letting us know they are not up to speed, as some of our other suppliers are, but we can only listen to you, we can't help other than not giving them our business.

If a manager does not listen to your situation, and try to rectify the problem, especially for being charged for an agreed shipping service you were not given, which resulted in delays for you, go directly to the Better Business Bureau and make a report.

What would you like for CJ's to do to make the situation better? Unfortunately when shipping out the volume of orders that we do we are bound to make a mistake every once in awhile. I have been in the same situation as you many of times and waiting for parts can be a very frustrating experience. However bashing our employees and throwing around insults does very little to help the situation. All of our employees work very hard and do the best they can to help all of our customers.

I am willing to discuss the situation further so please feel free to PM or email me so we can reach some type of resolution.

It's too bad you had to smear their name in a very popular Mustang Forum to get some action.

I had a concern and i wanted to share it with the stang community especially stangnet which i have been a part of since 2001 and make everyone here aware, i didnt smear there name, i didnt get treated the way i shouldve, that was acknowledged and made right.
I think and feel-"Now" that the higher ups @ CJ know about certain things and my situation, i feel-It shoud get better. if not for this thread and others like it on other boards the powers that be-Would be in the dark. So it made progress and will have a benefit on the stang community-especially on stangnet.
I'll put it to you this way, CJ's reached out, apologized and made things right & corrected a wrong sitaution.

Fellow stangnetters-

When dealing with CJ PONY PARTS, beware-especially when you make a purchase, It seems they "lie" about the shipping courier services..I aksed multiple times when speaking to Justin while making an order about will it go out UPS gorund.... he states-"YES".........
Then you call them back and ask them-for a tracking number and low and behold they cannot find one, they dont even know-what service they sent the package out!!!! What is that a Romper Room operation????- They tell you to call back, Its sent out US MAIL service!!!!!! WtFFFFFF!!!!! Obviosuly no one in that fuggN place pays attention to customers or there needs.... I stated explicity-I need the part before the weekend. I placed my order on monday, it is now thursday and still NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! I wouldve paid $10-$15 for a real shipping service, $$$ was not the issue, the service was...... Now-they got my $$$, I have no part because its lost witthin the USPS system.
My impression for the last 5 years when meeting them in Raceway park Swap meet tent is they are a cocky bunch, who thinks there is no other company that caters to the mustang crowd but them. Obviously-They are in for a rude awakening, 5.0 RESTO blows the doors off them. just unfortunate for me-They are located in texas and shipping takes 5 days UPS ground-whivch is why-i ordered from CJ Pony parts-being located in Pennsylvania, and im in New York. So shipping should only take no more than 2 days. there service sucks, whenever you call for a part-It needs to be orederd because-"Its not in stock" crap and when they do have the part-Its way overpriced and they screw your stuff up with lost packages or lack of information on the shipping 411 which left there warehouse.
i think they serioulsy need to get with it, hire some real customer service poeple and treat there customers like customers. I mean-They couldnt even find 411 on my package, or what service it was sent out-when i was told it was being shipped UPS GROUND..... So not only do they lie, they really dont know what is going on from within.
Guys-do yourself a favor and stay away, orderr from summit, jegs or 5.0 restor, mt. laurel mustangs anybody-but CJ PONY PARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I spoke to Justin, jeremy, Renee- and none of them had a clue what service my part was shipped out, logged in or anything. It took the young lady to find out by calling the post office. i mean-WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!! is there not an outgoing shipping log that most REAL companies utilize in that place. For the way they carry themselves in person (cocky) like know-it-alls, which the know **** from **** at ther tent @ the swap meet, They should be seriously shamed of themselves and hide there faces for having a kiddie operation, They cant find tracking 411 within there system inside there own company. Thumbs down- CJ PONY PARTS!!!!!!

What a change of heart! I'm curious to know what the "righteous courtesy" was, and how I can get in on some of that action!

I'm happy that they fixed things for you, but they still have many unhappy customers and they will not get business again.

Dude- Totally agree with you. Have you ever heard Squeaky wheel gets the oil, Well-when things arent right, You must let others know. I am satisifed with the way they handled it afterwards, but I'm still upset, cautious and let down-about how they initially handled me from the get go. Will i make future purchases from them ever again, i am totally unsure, i cannot lie.

Its called "PR" buddy, and you're helping to feed it right now...

What I'm trying to say is, of course they are going to kiss your ass when you've put their reputation on the line on one of the most well-known Mustang forums on the internet! Just because they fixed things and made things right for you and everybody here to see, doesn't mean they won't go on to continue poor business practices.

I say- thanks for the heads up!

Was there an option of next day shipping that you chose? I didn't see you say you chose and paid more for next day shipping, only saw that you said you needed it fast... I need parts this week too and will not be getting them this week... It's the nature of the car world.

Now if you paid more, and were told the parts would be there, then there is a grip, but if you only verbally asked for special treatment, then its hard to reason why you should get it. Im not defending them, just wondering if you actually paid more for faster shipping, and did not recieve it?

When i ordered the part, i asked specifically for UPS ground being that i live in NYC and they are in PA, which takes 1 day to get to me. So i wouldnt need next day. i aksed for UPS ground mulitiple times and was told it was being shipped UPS ground and charged, It was shipped USPS mail and not UPS ground as per my request to meet my deadline for the swap meet and car show-in which i was registered to be in, and i was never charged for UPS ground either, but for a service USPS......... Either way-I didnt get the part, missed out ont he swap meet and car show and lost the $$$ for regsitration and had a miserable wekeend.

I ordered 2 exhaust hangers and a ford motorsport adj. clutch cable online, the cable was on back order and they shipped 1 hanger - said they are on back order also. What a waste of time, the day after placing the order I canceled the order for the cable and the guy I talked to said they had the hangers and would ship the other one.Day 3 just talked to Renee she said the second hanger was canceled, she fixed the problem said they will ship the second hanger 8/19.-- THE FREE SHIPPING IS NOT WORTH IT --

I have had no luck with them, they are only 5 hours away and it takes forever to get the part. Stuff I order from Texas comes quicker. I ordered a part they sent the wrong thing, sent it back they sent me the wrong thing again, they did this 3 times. Never, never, never.

I placed an onine order with CJ last weekend and needed a few things that weren't on their catalog. I called Monday, spoke with someone who was perfectly friendly over the phone, built out my order and it arrived today.

No problems here, in fact with their 10% off sale I'm going to pick up a few more things that were on my list.
