Hey guys,

This is my first post, but I read a lot of other posts on here a lot. Anyway, to get to the point, I am looking at a 1994 Mustang GT 5.0 with a LOT of mods on it. It looks killer. However, this is my first time purchasing something with such a hefty price tag. So, I thought that I would turn to you guys to look over the car and tell me some things that could convince me and my parents that it is a good thing to do. There are a lot of pictures. You can go here. If you guys can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Looks really nice! But 25K is a little expensive. You could spen a little more and get a used low milage 03 Cobra. But the car looks clean and straight.

Well, 25K is the purchase price, not the reserve price. I will bid if people can pursuade me that it is a good car and worth the money. Thanks for your reply.

He is dreaming if he thinks he is going to get 25k out of that car... I think he would belucky to get 14 or 15k... unfortunately when moding a car you never get close to what you put into it if you decide to sell.. If you plan on spending some money on the car.. like lots of mods, plan on keeping it for a long while.. or you can kiss the cash good-bye

What is the reserve price? I am sure it will be close to the 25K mark. I don't see him getting that for it.
But it looks like a nice car. I would never buy a car without driving it first though. If you live close to it or know some that is have them check it out. Drive it make sure it is as good as the pics make it out to be.

I wouldnt pay any where near what he wants for it. maybe 10-12...thats some low numbers for it, a 347 should do that on motor, and he has a 347+ boost? Looks like someone forgot to install the stroker for him..I dunno its just not worth it to me. it should easily make 100+ more than it is right now

Hey guys,

Thanks for your input. That helps a lot. I live in Florida, so there is no way that I could go to Missouri, if that is what MO stands for. I think that is what it says. If anyone has anymore opinions about the car, please, let me know. I really appreciate the warn welcome. Thanks again. I really didn't expect you guys to respond this quickly. Laterz. I'm going to lunch.

I would look in your area for a mustang. I'm sure there are tons there that are nice. You just have to look. That guy is asking a little too much for that car, IMO. Good luck.

I would be real hestitant to buy a heavily modded car. Instead find a plain one, and make it your own. $25k is way too much for that, you never get your moenys worht out of a modded car when you sell it. Theres also something I was wondering about:
Shouln't that car be making WAY more than 306 rwhp, I don't car if it is ona conservative dyno, thats too low for a supercharged 347.

Plus...it only has 1/4 tank of gas left in it. With Gas prices today, the 3/4 tank missing is worth another $1G or so.

Engine toooooo dirty for me. At that price, the car should be an ALL AROUND winner.!

You know what else is strange??

For a stroker engine and blower..there are NO Gauges that I could see anywhere in those pics (aftermarket that is)

hahaha, 366 rwhp with a 347 and a paxton?!?! Are you kidding me? Those numbers are really low, the car does look real nice though, but like everyone said you cant justify that price for a car thats been modded to death (yet still down on power )

There are number of things I find wrong with the seller's choice of performance products...1 B-Cam with a Blower...those two just don't mix...that could probably why the car only made such insignificant HP for a blown 347...next...A 347 blown means that the longitivity of the engine is limited...you'd be better of with a blown 331...Than what is up with 36# injectors...I would at least expect 42# if not more...Like someone else said here...you can pick up an 03 Cobra and make a lot more HP stock than this thing modded...I wouldn't buy anyones project unless I knew them personally...

Thanks a lot guys, you really helped. I really appreciate your feedback. I never really thought about all of those things until you said something. I was more interested in how it looked at first, since that is all those pictures focused on. If anyone finds a nice 94-95 5.0 in Florida, let me know, I would really appreciate that. Thanks again for all your help. I more than likley would have regreted it, assuming I bought it. Laterz

Oh and I love my car and all but to invest 51,000 grand in a 94 Mustang??? Unless you're a professional racer making money from winning sor own a performance shop or money is no object. The mustang is about bang for the buck, being cheap, fast, easy to work on and fun. Once you've spent 51Gs that kind of goes out the window (in my mind atleast)

I'm with everyone else on this one. Too little power, too god damn much $$$. If I had dumped that much money which that total is sneaking up on my little project. I would be keeping my car for god knows how long. Got to question why he is selling it after such an investment! Not to mention the engine bay is dirty... WTF, you got a mustang for sale near 25k that thing better be spit shined.

Hey guys,

Again, I jsut wanted to say thanks for all your input. Like I said, I was just shocked at how nice the interior and paint job looked at first that I never thought about all those things you said. Again, I really appreciate the warm welcome you guys gave. Thanks for your support. I am glad I turned to you. If you see a 94-95 5.0L in Florida, let me know. You can email me. It is on my profile. Thanks again.

to put things in perspective, my friend has a 23,000 mile 93' beautiful notch 347 stroker with a t-trim that made over 800 rwh that he spent i guess around 30k in mods not including the price of the car when he originaly purchased it and he was considering selling for a while around 20k.that would be a car to have for the money in comparison not to mention there isn't that many cars running around with that kind of nastyness.just my .02cents
