Buying a 89' 2.3L Need lots of help

from what i understand, turbo engines love the nawzzzz. it'll help cool the intake air down after it's all heated up from the turbo

i4power thanks for all the info. Once I get the car which should be today. I will start looking at it and ripping it apart and see what it needs. This is more of a long term project so I might be willing to spend the money but on the other hand it seems like I can spend less and make more power by going to a V8. But after the 2.3L is finished I am doing a 351 SC on my 94'. I didn't want two gas guzzler V8s. I love the though of a 20+ mpg 4 bangger with a **** load of power. Is there any other 2.3L sites with forums so can find out more? What are some average times the 2.3L turbos running. And if you know there power? And how much does it cost to do the 5 lug conversion with new rotors, etc.

BTW I got the car today. It is a 85 not 89. Can anyone give me the specs of the car. I know it is a 4 cyl but what else. How much HP etc. I will start project "piece of ****" next weekend. I have to work on my 94 today. I am thinking a 351 might be a better idea at this time. I need some help guys.

yeah 85s are carb'd a 351 carbed would be an EASY swap

Yeah, you gotta install a wiring harness. IMO that can be a pain.

does the wiring harness cost alot. And how much does a carb 351 go for?
