I am buying my mothers 97 gt. One of my concerns is the drivers seat. It is too high and wont go back far enough. Are there any fixes for this problem. I was wondering if I could just swap the seat mount with maybe a non power seat but Im not sure.

Any reccomended mods? This is what I'm thinking

Already have , 3" R hood, 17x9 Chrome bullitts

Want. Magnaflow catback, lower it, S281 wing, sell the wheels and go for the anthracite 18x9 18x10 deep dish bullitt combo all this year and then with next years tax money either TT setup or Kenne Bell.

Buy new seats, and you can get an adjustable track or modify the one you have. Even non power seats sit at basically the same height.

Any mods will be an improvement, I would start in the power dept.

LS1? Yeah thats what I really want but just bought a 06 Pontiac Torrent for my wife and her old infiniti (what I drive) is a little upside down. So I am trading cars with my mom. Getting rid of a car I dont like, getting a car I do like and no extra payment. Win Win. And the sound of single exhaust is almost enough for me to not want another F body.

Good looking out on the link for the seat mod. That is exactly what I was looking for. A cheap fix. Sweet.
