I found two vendors on ebay that seem serious. Since I am sitting on the other side of the earth, I need to ensure that I get it right. What should I tell/ask sellar ??

You can get a TCI sizzler good to 300hp with a warranty out of jegs or summit for 699....or a TCI street fighter for 899 good for 450 hp.....TCI is a reputable transmission builder, Ebay....ehhh, not so much. But I have bought a chevy overdrive and bolted it behind 500 horsepower and drove it for 2 years and it did great...so, use your own judgement.

been there, done that, and got REALLY burnt.

Check the company first... Don't waste your money like I did.

I would rather go with a reputable company or a local shop. Less chances of getting burnt.
