I spoke to Tom at length when I picked it up. Since I came in over the interet I was dealing with Chris in the internet department. Everyone is great there and I could not be happier.

I'm actually in Las Flores, right around the bend from Rancho. I spoke with Villa quite a bit and it was between giving Villa and Rancho my business. In the end Rancho won since they had the color I wanted. Plus I figure it doesn't hurt buying from the place that I'll be servicing it at.

Rancho has a show on Sept 10 that I'm aware of. I'm considering entering. If nothing else I'll be there with my son enjoying the cars.

Rule #1 when buying a new car:

Always wait to buy unitl the last day or two of the month.

Bought my last car on Christmas Eve. One before that was just before New Year's day. I've found both those times are good for finding deals.

This time was different though. I still got a killer deal.

It is tempting to do both. We'll see how my wife is feeling closer to September (currently in the 1st trimester of 2nd pregnancy) before committing.

What's the judging typically like? Do they prefer 100% stock or window tint and stereo mods acceptable?
