I would just want to know everyone's opinion on this. I'm interested in buy a t-lok and some gears for my stang and I saw some used ones. Now I know that alot of people don't trust used gears, but I've never really heard anything about used t-loks. Would would you guys say, should I get both used, new or mix? Thanks in advance.

What price did you see the used gears/T-Lok being offered for, and what ratio were the gears?

A new OEM 7.5" T-Lok is $169 from www.gefracing.com. I would buy a new one rather than used at that price. New or used gears are up to you. I would buy new because of the expense involved in installing them.

What do you mean by this? Do you mean that it will cost more in install used stuff? I plan on getting 4.10 gears.

No it's the same price to install new as it is to install used, but if you install used gears and find out they whine, or a used T-Lok and find out the clutches are worn out, you get to pay all over again (generally $200 or so) for the installation of new gears and/or a new T-Lok. However, since the used 4.10 gears you looking at are presumably on a T-Lok already, they might be worth considering. What is the price?
