Dose anyone know if you can run c-clip eliminators and still use the abs? Dose anyone make a kit for disc brake cars all i have seen is for drum brakes.
I'm not absolutely certain, but I think running the c-clip eliminators requires the use of 9" bearing ends. Not sure what role that plays with keeping the ABS rings on the axles, or running rear disc brakes. Someone with experience in that area would have to chime in. I'm still on my stock axles.
The abs ring on the axles will need to be removed as well as the sensors.
In order to run c clip eliminators you will have to have your caliper brackets machined to accept the eliminator. You can also use 9" style ends but that is probably more money.
There are 4 bolts that hold the braket to the axle tube. You have to machine the material out in the shape of the c-clip elim down to the level of the flange where these 4 bolts are. This gives a flat surface to mount the c-clip elim to. FYI, this is only for Disc brakes. I dont know how different it is for any other car, just my 1994 GT.
