c code 289 fueling troubles

idles perfectly at about 720. full advance is in by about 1300. pulls about 15 psi vacuum. i adjusted the curb idle screws with the vacuum gauge. turned them out to max vacuum and then backed them off just a hair. problem is when i stab the throttle from idle. bogs momentarily and then revs just fine. any suggestions?

the car is running the best it has in fifteen years. fires right up from cold on the first turn of the key. aside from this little issue, i am really happy with where the carb is at right now. it's the stock autolite 2 barrel.
 
I think you have too much initial timing. Full timing shouldn't kick in till over 2000 RPM. 2500+ would be best. I say adjust the timing and take it for a spin.

Also next time post in the tech section and you'll prolly get a quicker and better response.
