C&L MAF question....Tech help please

I purchased the 80mm kit off Ebay last night for my 97 Cobra...used but stated as mint for $100.00
It came with the K/N filter, the meter, the heat shield and "hardware".
What other hardware is there??
How do you calibrate them or do you?
I have stock injectors etc....is this plug and play or what.
I didnt expect to buy it, but for the price I thought it was worth it.

Was I right or wrong. I know the gains arent much to speak of but with a trueflow pipe added it cant hurt?

You got a pretty good deal... That kit new goes for $269 direct from C&L.

What size injectors did the '97 come with stock? What color is the sampling tube in the C&L MAF? Here's a link to their calibration chart:

97 Cobra's have 24lb injectors...If the MAF is calibrated for 24lb injectors it should be plug and play...

According to the chart that means the sampling tube inside the MAF should be purple in color.

Hopefully its running the purple. If its not, Im assuming I bring it the local speed shop and have them calibrate? Im going to wait until I purchase the Trueflow pipe to install so Im in no rush...Id rather learn something first so thanks again for the info!

The guide is helpful thanks for posting. Confirm though please.
You stated to run the purple for the 24lb injector, the chart looks to me like it is stating to run the blue tube for 24 and the purple for the 30?

Also where do I pick up a calibration tube if needed? Do they sell seperatley?

I should have checked the link before asking the cal question in thread before this one. Its that simple...cool

My bad dude! You're right... the blue tube is for 24lb injectors on a 97 Cobra utilizing an 80MM MAF. I was looking at line 3 of the Calibration chart for some reason?

If you need a new sampling tube you should be able to order one through C&L I would think.
