I was thinking about picking up a used meter for a good price. when i checked them out on the C&L website it said this "This package gives you the best performance AS DELIVERED and is not inteneded to be used in conjunction with any "cold air" or "ram air" packages. Dyno testing has proven that our system provides more horsepower the way it comes from us, as cold air is being delivered to the filter." As you can see in my sig I have a BBk fenderwell cold air kit. Is C&L just saying this so that they can sell their inlet tube, or will it work well with my set up?

I think it is because of the bend the BBK CAI makes right before the MAF. The C&L is designed to have air come straight in to get accurate readings. A filter on the end of the MAF will work or the stock airbox. You may be able toput a screen in front of the MAF and keep the CAI.

You dont ever want to have a bend in front of the MAF. It may cause turbulence and faulty readings.
