So just about every ad i run on there i get some fake ass scammer claiming to want to buy my stuff. Just give him my name address and phone # and the total amount for the items and he will send a check (for a few hundred more)and his "shipper" will pick it up then give the "shipper" the remainder of the money for shipping! I wanna say ok and give the info he wants then beat the **** outta the guy or person that shows up! What low lifes! How many people actually fall for this crap? Isnt there someone you can report these jerks to? peace

I tell them my name is Frank Boi, and have them address the payment as follows:
F.Boi
935 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington, DC 20535
which is the address for the FBI, lol
Might as well let them waste a stamp and some time

Never had a CL scammer, but I have had some email scams trying to buy my old 99 GT vert. Had 3 or 4 overseas people try to send me money, then repay them back a portion of it, and then want me to pay shipping to get the car to europe.

I have only had good luck on Craigslist, sold a generator in two days and got cash on delivery. Maybe if you specified cash only that would deter the scammers? Or at least attract only counterfeiters...
