WELL......... all i can say is you guys rock !!! i started checking my wiring tonite and found the problem. the green and black wire was grounding out alright, believe it or not that wire does not go with the rest of the wires through the firewall. it goes under the air filter housing. i took the filter and pipe off to have easy access to all the wires and found the problem right there along with a half eaten hickory nut. YEP..... i guess a squirrel was trying to have dinner under the hood of my car and looks like he ate alot of the insulation off a couple of the wires anf the grren and black one was touching the frame rail........ THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP
