c4 in a carbd 2.3

I have done a search but haven't found the specifics I'm looking for.

Can I bolt up my c4 to a 2.3 engine. I'm missing the bellhousing and flywheel but am curious if anyone has bolted a c4 to a 2.3

I would be skeptical to how much power you would loose through a c4 on a 4 cylinder, there is a whole lot of rotational mass in those transmissions.

the 2.3-C4 bellhousing is rare. You can find them, but unless you happen accross one in the J-yard, you will be paying over 100 for the bell alone.
There are plenty of people running a C4 on their 2.3 turbo engines, but depending on your hp goals, the C4 is probably going to be overkill. The a4ld or c3 will be good for at least 200hp.

Pinto's and mustang II is where you'll find one. I dont' know that you'd loose as much power with it as in an a4ld, but theres no over drive with the c4. I wouldn't waste my time with a c3, they are a better paper weight then a tranny.
