ive got away from the idea of a stick, as i want to drag only. im wanting a good auto. im thinking along the lines of a built c4. car will not be a daily driver anymore. im also wanting to do a gear swap again. im wanting 4.30 gears.
or should i just go get like the pa stage 2 aode? only reason i ask that is cause of my gear choice. would a c4 be able to get me down the track with a good trap still? and if i do decide on a c4, should i stick with my 4.10's i have now?

c4

the C4 can be built to handle rediculous HP. As someone who has broken more than I can remember, i will stick with my 4r70w. non syncro shifts 1,2,3 not o/d =longer life. my NOS car broke the bank and i quit C4's. but that was in 1996. Today they have really made them stronger. I don't know about AODE. never used it. good idea to switch to auto. no way to bracket win with manual. (rare for sure). i have always used auto. I lose 15 or so HP's from the pump, but I get quick consistent shifts. power glide is best of all. one shift. I switched my first car from manual the day i built a real motor for it. for what it is worth.
