to everyone that has converted their t5 to c4 what did you do about the center console area? I have a big empty void where the shifter sits at now that was once covered up by the t5 shifter boot. What did you guys use to cover it back up with? I'm thinking of getting a piece of flat aluminum and cutting it to fit and the. Getting it powder coated or something. I'll try to post a pic this afternoon if anyone is confused. Thanks guys in advanced

Have you bought a shifter yet? The modification you describe would work. I've seen a few at the track that were clearly a swap(hack jobs that don't care about appearance).

i made a mount based off the holcomb motorsport mount. it puts the shifter in the stock location.

i just tagged you in a post about my mount

Yeah it's in place and everything. I had to notch the center console just to get it to go back to 3rd gear and not hit the radio while its in park. I'll have to go take a picture for better clarification.

yea i notched my trans tunnel and have it sitting against the stock shifter bezel when its in 3rd
