I am new to posting on this forum but I have been doing alot of research and have gotten my 66 mustang move along.

I am stuck with now, after dealing with imports for a few years this is my first domestic. I just put a 5.0 in my 66 and bolting up a C4 transmission.

The C4 was out of a 4x4 truck. The motor and transmission are in my car right now I am just waiting on a mount bracket. This is my question.

In the picture below, what is the "part" I need called to hook up the transmission to the drive shaft? It is called a tail shaft? Output shaft?

I figured everything else out but this domestic thing is new, so bare with me.

Any help is greatly appreciated
