I know this is a stupid (or an unheard of) question...but are there any CAI's that use a paper filter or are they all the reuseable oil K&N types? Does the Ford CAI (Shelby/Bullitt) use an oil coated membrane filter as well?

I have a K&N Aircharger CAI system. I changed the K&N filter element for one of the filters from Amsoil. No oiling required and they are supposed to filter much better. You clean them every 25,000 miles and replace them at 100,000. To clean you just gently blow compressed air from the inside out. Check them out.
