Shifter, more bang for the buck !

Makes the car shift brand new.....

My first mod on my beat up 200K 89 fox, now SO much fun to shift.

Dead nuts precise !

I have an all-stock '01 GT 5-speed, and I'm itching for my first mod. I narrowed it down (thanks to you all) to either a CAI or a Pro 5.0 shifter. Why should I choose one over the other? Your opinions are greatly appreciated.

Forget the CAI, you will get maybe 1-2hp. Pro 5 shifter should be everyones first mod, you will love it.

Gear won't work if you miss gears and hurt the trans !!

Get the shifter, buy some DR'S and learn how to drive.

90% of the races won are due to the driver..........

if you got the cash-first mod=gears. actually, your first mod should always be a drop in K&N from your local autozone, then gears and shifter. forget the cai for now. The last performance mods i put on my car were cai and pulleys....

CAI is a waste of time.
BTW the mustang is already equiped with a CAI, what do you think that snorkle inside the fender is?

Get the shifter!

When you have the $ get Gears (4.10's!)

Id say get the shifter. But drive a car with both to see which one you like better.

Ok, the shifter it shall be. I'm gonna get the Pro 5.0, because some reviews of the Steeda say that it causes some cabin noise, and that's a big issue with me. I guess I need to upgrade the stereo system, too... Thanks a million, guys!
