Does anyone have any info on the cal-custom brand from Gardena CA? From what I have seen, they are no longer in buisness. I have a set of finned alum. valve covers with their logo. Part number 40-1017. I am tring to decide wether to get rid of them or keep them. Don't Know if they are worth anything. Thanks.

If they're FE valve covers, they're worth about $100+ dollars depending on condition. Look on ebaymotors, there's a few sets there from time to time.

They aren't for an FE engine. They fit 289-302. I looked on ebay and saw a set for a 352 FE for $150. I found a small article on the company. They seem to be 60's aftermarket covers.I guess I will see if anyone wants them. Thanks for the info.

These have tall fins with about 1\2 wide gaps. It will be tomorrow before I can take a picture of them.

Cal-Custom was around in the 60's and 70's, I don't know when they folded. Small blocks covers would I guess go for around $50. I personally never cared for the looks of the small block covers, only the FE's looked good to me. They made all kinds of other stuff too.PAW markets similar aluminum covers.

I actually took them off of my wifes coupe when we brought it home because I thought they were ugly. I don't like the tall fins. Maybe someone on ebay will want them!
