I have a 89 LX with a 5" fiberglass cal induction hood. I am wanting to put those gas shocks on there to raise and close my hood just as you would with a hatch back only problem is nobody seems to carry these things that are light duty. Everything is super strong for hatches or I get yeah we have them but not for a 89. Everything we have is for newer ones. So does anyone out there have this set up on a fox body with a fiberglass hood or know where I can get some at?
