Well im not sure if anyone else heard the news. But a Cali state senator has proposed a bill making it a requirement that vehicles for 1992-1976 instead of the normal two year smog requirement will now be required to smog every year. In the bill it states that this is to help lower to number of older cars on the road that are termed "heavy polluters". Well there goes california trying to take away another hobby from people. First guns now cars. Pretty soon the only thing your going to be able to do in California is either hug a tree or eat some tofu.:bs:

Another reason Cali can suck my dick!!!! ****ing tree huggers can die!!!! I really do hate the fact they took away guns law buying citizens. Come on, seriously does a criminal give a rats ass??!!! Of course all he sees is more of an aportunitty to keep on his criminal mischiefs!!

Good! :nice: Most states have to smog every year, why should cali be an exception? Besides, if you're worried just get an under the table inspection. Theres ways around everything ;)

No thats not good you tree hugger lol!!! I've always gotten 2 year palteds. Less hassle. Imaging putting ur cats back on once a year instead of once every 2 years lol!

Put cats back on? :rlaugh: Get an under the table inspection! I support this every year inspection, if I have to do it, so should other states. Whether my inspections are legit or not is debatable ;)

They just changed our smog laws in MO :nice: . In the last 8-10yrs or so we moved to 2yr plates, but you have the choice of 1yr (1/2 the 2yr cost), we go even cars on even years and odd year cars on odd years...if you buy an odd year car on an even year you only get 1yr tags.

This september 1st (when the change takes over) we are DONE with the wanna-be dyno smog police. To top that off cars 1995 and older are exempt...you can also be exempt if the car is driven less than 6k(?) miles a year. If the car fails OBDII plug in tests you then get put on the rollers or something like that.

I am SO glad I have a 94...exempt :nice: . still have to pass visual but its all there (for now) so who cares.
