i'm considering buying a 95 GT (it's in great shape and i'm getting a great deal on it), but the car is from california. my question is, do the california cars have more emissions crap on them? will the power be any different on a '95 cali car then one from anywhere else? thanks for you help.

California Mustangs are just the same as any other mustangs. California does have pretty strict emission laws but they do not require you to add anything to your car, unless your cat is going out or any of your smog stuff isnt working.

People are usually happy to buy a California car when they're in the east because we don't have any snow to worry about(for the most part), therefore, no salt messing up the underside.
