california smog question

Im looking to buy a car in Las Vegas and i live on california i want to know how much it will cost to smog it in california. what do i have to add to make it pass smog??? if you have done this let me know thanks.

well assuming that all of the smog stuff is still on the car, just the like $~25 test.

so you saying i shouldnt have any problem smoging the car??

is the stock midpipe on there (contains the catalitic converters), egr and any other smog stuff you can think of that i can't- not sure, is there a smog pump? that's pretty much the smog stuff. Oh yea, and you're probably not gonna pass if you have any type of power adder or a bigger engine. I'm not even sure if the H/C/I swap would effect the smog test or not.

How often does the state of California require to take a smog test and what kind of thinga are they really looking for? Do they actually look at the casting numbers on your block and say, "That's not your stock engine!" Currently everything I do to my car is considered 50 state legal but would they make a stink just because it's not stock?
