If I recall I think I remember seeing that the CS package on top of all the cosmetic things, also lowers the ride height. Is that true or am I just making it up? I am just looking for some simple mods for when my car comes in and if they wouldn't make a difference, then I wouldn't get the springs obviously.

i don't believe the CS is lowered from the factory, the front fascia is different, and it hangs a little lower than the GT front fascia, but the suspension is the same as a GT...hope this helps

Yeah I have a black GT/CS and all that is lower is the front fascia. The way they state it in the advertisement makes it sound like the car is lowered as well but it is not.

I'll vouch for that. While fabricating and installing a billet grill in the HUGE hole in the lower grill of the CS, I just barely had enough room to get my standard floor jack under the spoiler. BTW, I'm still not happy with the billet grill I installed but it is better than a 5" x 24" hole that leads directly to the a/c condenser/ radiator. Has anyone come out with a grill to cover that cavern and protect some pretty expensive and delicate parts?

Nice to see another CS owner out there. I am looking for the parts to finish out the area around the radio with something that looks like the dash we have in our cars. Which, by the way I think our interior package on these cars looks better than the stock GT and even better than the Shelby. Have you seen anything like this yet? Oh, don't look for the knob replacements yet, no one has any since they changed the switch from last year.

Anybody with a CS, feel free to post up some pics too if you can. I have one on order coming in within the month and I'm dying to see more of what it will look like. A Google for CS pics just turns up the white one in spades. I was also thinking of picking up the Ford lowering kit. I saw a write up on another brand. I'm assuming the Ford install would be about the same.

I just found a dealer this weekend that had a brouchure on the CS and the ride height is the same as a stock GT. The only difference is the front fascia that is 1 1/2 inches lower than the one on the stock GT. Does anyone know any production numbers on them??

I don't know how to post pictures but you will love it- mine is white & I painted the hood scoop, spoiler, & between the taillights flat black to make it look like a
'69 mach 1. Modding it has been a lot of fun.

Post some pics if you can. Sounds like a very nice ride. What brand ring and pinion and springs did you go with?
