what type of grease do you use for the whatamacallit sliders things? I dunno what its called but I'm talking about the bracket for the calipers that slides where the bolts are (with the rubber boots).

I just repacked miine with white lithium grease because it looked like thats what was there already. but they were all very dry and one was stuck in there pretty good on one of the rear caliper brackets. I was wondering if the blue waterproof (axle/bearing) grease may do a better job/last longer.

Ford used dielectric grease in there. I use a synthetic grease (synthetic because I don't want the grease to slowly eat the rubber boot). I can't remember what kind it is but it is made to be used in brake parts like slide pins and such.
