First off let me just say starbai thank you!You get it! Now as for pushrod power you obviously don't get it! I love my GT/CS... it's more than entertaining to drive(when pushed) its exhilarating but I don't care if you're driving a Ferrari or a dump truck, music makes it better(engine noise and exhaust nod only go so far). Ford's emphasis is on performance, total performance and that's probably why they came up with APPLINK. We paid for this high tech "upgradeable" system which should allow me to drive hard and pay attention to the road and not be distracted by my music and or phone. Every good car chase is only as good as its background music. Maybe you're not a tech guy so it doesn't appeal to you but I am and it's why i paid for the SYNC in the first place. Who says a car can't be fun to drive and be loaded with relevant technologies. If it didn't matter then why the hell did Ford develop APPLINK. Bottom line is and has been "UPGRADEABILITY", that's what they promised but have yet to deliver on.
Has it been verified that Ford really promised something or are people just assuming they did? I'd like to know the facts in this issue.

Let's see, the 2012 Civic has already has 3 recalls, two of which required the cars to be off the showroom (missing suspension snubbers and leaking gas tank-my buddy is a parts manager at a Honda dealership), the Corolla is still getting by with a 4 speed auto and crappy gas mileage, and Nissan has been plagued with problems on it's CVT trans. The Focus? won every comparo it's been in. I know which car I'd buy, and most people too. We can't keep them, or Fiesta's on the lot. Literally.

LOl, I've been there like 3 times and I can't see where more than 8 people have voted, commented or whatever. Maybe people don't care?? I mean it's just friggin apps from your dang phone isn't it? I mean, am I missing something?
SYNC is a standard feature on a GT/CS. Yes that's true but it's a $2,000 option on top of the premium GT. l'd say l paid extra for SYNC. Ford promises "UPGRADEABILITY" with SYNC. They upgraded the 2012's SYNC systems strictly on software. starbai is right, there isn't anything to research. lts already done, they just have to release it for '11. Can anyone explain why l'm getting so much resistance to what should be in everyone's intrest? l thought this was a MUSTANG community? Where's the support and comradery? So you don't want the best possible Mustang from Ford? l get that APPLINK isn't important to everyone. Read the OP, l ask for everyone's help in return for that same help when you need it. lt's not like l'm asking for money or large amounts of your time. Over 1,600 views for this thread, if half of those would've gone to the link and supported it we would've gotten a real response from Ford by now. Look l was originally just asking you all for your help with this. l still am, if you could spare a couple minutes l'd appreciate it. Really? Really? pushrod power are you slow or something, did you take the short bus to school when you were a kid? When you go to a restaurant and order soup do they force you to wear water wings so you don't drown. Read the quote genius, l said the GT/CS is a $2,000 option on top of a premium GT. When you say SYNC is standard equipment on the premium GT you make it seem like it's free, its not free. If you pay MORE than a standard GT to get MORE in it, then it's not exactly "standard"is it? That's just used car salesman marketing at it "best". By the the way, you wouldn't happen to be a car salesman would you? Cause l find most car salesman think they're experts when it comes to cars. They're not! Mechanics are pretty close but only the engineers are true experts. l mean they can't make'em, they can't fix'em and anyone who reads the brochure knows as much about the car as the salesman.
