My car an 92 ran great then just cranks but doesn't start. The fuel pump doesn't prime. So after reading more posts then I could count I replaced the ECM and the fuel pump relay. Still no good. I am getting a very dim lit check engine light with this problem. What I can confirm is I am getting 12 volts constant to the yellow wire at the ECM relay connector, 12 volts to the other wire, not sure of the color (again ECM relay connector) when I turn the key to on, I have a good ground from the black wire...and the strange part 5.2volts from the red wire which I thought sends volts to the fuel pump relay. So were is this voltage coming from? I have the same 5.2 volts at the fuel injectors and at the fuel pump relay's red wire. If I should only have 5 volts to the injectors that solves one issue... but from everything I've read the red wire coming from the ECM relay sends voltage out to the FP relay and shouldn't have any volts without it being plugged in to the ecm relay. 40 years in the hobby, can fix a Maserati with my eyes closed in a dark room....the Mustang, I'm over my head Thanks for any help ( Will replace the ECM relay, worth a shot) God I hate these computer driven cars Sorry for the typo
