Well got the car back together and Im haveing a cam gear oiling problem. The whole motor gets very well oiled except for the pass. side cam gear and timing chain, its making some ticking noise. Now the car has almost everything new internally, including new oil pump and pick up tube. The lifters are all stiff with oil pressure, and everything on the valve train is perfect. First we thought that a oil port was blocked, but everything looks in order accorrding to some manuals. I have put 10w30 synthetic in it, but I have been reading about running regular oil on break ins. Does anyone have any ideas or info on whats going on?
