Ok so here's what i'm working with. 306, AFR165, typhoon intake, Cai, 70mmtb wit egr spacer, 76mm maf, 24# injectors, mac underdrive pullies, bbk 1¾” shorties, 2 ½” off road h pipe, mac 2 ½” mufflers, holley adj afpr, Aod with a high stall torque converter 2200-2800 , bbk shift kit, 4.10 gears.

I'm trying to decide between these three cams

Comp cams - XE266HR - duration 216/224, Max Lift .544"/.555" - $245.88
Crane Cams - 444221 - duration 216/220, Max Lift .533"/.544" - $179.95
Trick flow - Stage 1 - duration 221/225, Max Lift .499"/.510" - 159.95

I'm looking for a nice ammount of power and all out of this engine, but I don't want to go with a custom cam yet because there's a chance I may want to add a supercharger down the road. All I want to know is what kinda power people were putting out with combo's similar to mine, and one of the above cams, and if any of them aren't really practical for the street. Also, if anyone has soundclips of their cars with the cams i'd like to hear them.
Thanks

I have a setup similar to yours and run the TFS Stage 1. It's nice. I wonder what more cam would do for my combo. But for $150, how could I go wrong.

If I was going to spend 250.00 for a OTS cam, I would go ahead and do 50.00 more for a custom. Just because its a custom for what you have now that doesnt mean it wont work with boost.

I run the TFS 1 and make 315/340 with a T-5. Buddy of mine ran the TFS 1 with TFS heads, ported cobra intake and a auto tranny. Ran 7.9s @ 89 in the 1/8.

I have ported Edelbrock heads (flow about 250/180) and a RPM intake (untouched). 76mm C&L, 70mm TB, 1 5/8 LTs.

With horrible driving (granny) I ran a 7.90 @ 90 with a 1.78 60'. Thats a bad 60' for my car too. Only have a couple passes with this motor.

the crane cam is freakin awesome.. i love it to death.. badass chop in a low tone at idle.. run there 600lb springs and valve train kit and its a monster.. power band is just about everywhere.. i was in second at 5k rpms (stock 3.08 gears) and nailed it and the car launched and left the car i was racing at the time.. all the way to the rev limiter.. it was the only reason i shut it down.. by far the best cam i have had ever or tryed before in mine or another persons car.. trust me if you get it.. you will love it.. this is the only off the shelf cam i'll ever buy.. GET IT
