cam help

hey, i recently installed stage II cams in my 04' gt and the check engine light went on and the car seems to be a lot more sluggish. when i frist took the car for a drive with the new cams it seemed to be a lot better than now. it was just idling and it started to idle rough, smell really bad from the gas, the check engine light came on and now it idles fine. will a tune fix this? could i fix this and tune my car proporly with the SCT livewire tuner myself? or would i need to get it dynotuned to help get the most out of the cams and fix this problem? any help at all is appreciated, thank you.

i have no idea..but i plugged in my SCT tuner and it cleared it for me..so thats one problem solved. now i just need to get it tuned.

Tune FO SHO! Your idle should improve a bit, but a cammed motor tends to have that smell like it's spitting a few drops of gas out the back.
