Im new to the engine building world so ive got some questions that im sure are gonna be real newbie sounding. please bear with me.
When i bought my 5.0 it came with a tfs stage 2 cam and some ported e7 heads and 1.6 roller rockers and studs. unfortunatly this all came in a box.... so i want to install this stuff and want to know what all stuff am i gonna need to aquire before i start this and what stock components do i need to replace along the way? and do i need to pull the engine to these mods? any help would be awesome. i just wanna do this myself i dont wanna be the guy that takes everything in to the speed shop. Thanks.

No need to pull the engine...you will need to take the radiator out for the cam swap. Get you a gasket set and a torque wrench and get busy.

I am not sure if the TFS Stage 2 cam will work with the stock heads.??
You may need to go with the stage 1..

You don't have to pull the motor. But if it is possible for you to pull it I would because It is so much easier to work on when it is right in front of you on a stand and you're not having to bend over the fenders for hours.

that stage 2 is too much cam anyhow. Get a stage 1, or even the stocker HO cam will work well with those heads.

If your intake is on the motor, andersonfordmotorsports sells a tool that allows you to do a cam swap without having to pull the lower intake...it holds the lifters up while you swap the cam. Works fantastic.
