You could see how much VT Engines over in Lansing will do it for. Their website is www.vtengines.com and their phone # is (519)-245-1164.

a lot of shops would rather pull the motor do to the install. i know a lot of techs would rather have the motor out so they can install and time the cams easier.

there is a tool you can buy that mates with the chain and allows you to change w/o removing covers. dude, it is more satisfying to do it yourself. i haven't tried to change springs on the car, but fasion a tool to compress the springs with the cylinder a TDC. autozone sells a spring tool that doesn't work without changing it.

a lot of bucks to get it done.

this is a hobby. you can do it. or you can ruin your motor.

MPH says $550 for just the cams, but $1200 for cams and springs because they have to remove the heads. Find a buddy that can do it and give him dinner or beer.
